Category 1 Criteria
Eligible Category 1 expenditure is for projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.
Category 2 Criteria
Eligible Category 2 expenditure is that expenditure allocated to community development and support activities and projects not listed under Category 1. Grant applications will not be reviewed until 18 June-30 June 2026.You are considered eligible for Category 2 funding if your project is for other general community development and support activities, such as junior sport/grassroots sport or welfare activities.
‘In Kind’ Expenditure
If you wish to apply for ‘in kind’ funding such as discounted or free room hire, prizes for raffles, or other facilities or services from Cooma Ex-Services Club please use the appropriate category ‘In Kind’ application.
Funding for Individuals
Please note that the Club cannot provide grant funding to individuals.
How much funding can I apply for?
While there is no set limit for applications, the Club has total grant funding of approximately $80,000 annually. We prefer to fund as many projects as possible to assist our community. Often, smaller grants will have a higher success.
When will I find out if my application was successful?
Closing date is 31 May 2026.
